1. Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Schirmer's Notary App ("App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

3. Eligibility and Account Requirements

3.1 Age Requirements

You must be at least 18 years old to use this App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

Be physically present during notarization (unless remote notarization is legally permitted)

We cannot provide legal advice

Notaries cannot advise on document content or legal implications

6. Payments and Fees

You retain ownership of content you submit but grant us a license to use, modify, and distribute such content as necessary to provide our services.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY:

IN NO EVENT SHALL SCHIRMER'S NOTARY SERVICES BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, OR DAMAGES EXCEEDING THE AMOUNT PAID FOR SERVICES IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS.

12. Termination

Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by:

Using the account deletion feature in the App
Contacting our customer support
Ceasing to use the App

Termination by Us

We may terminate or suspend your account if you:

Violate these Terms or our policies
Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities
Cause harm to our business or other users
Fail to pay required fees

Effect of Termination

Upon termination: Your right to use the App immediately ceases, we may delete your account and associated data, outstanding obligations survive termination, and certain provisions of these Terms continue to apply.

13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

Jurisdiction
